Amisha Parekh is the Product Manager for Sustainable Finance Solutions at Bloomberg, she was formerly Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy at Deloitte. Her career has taken her to Procter & Gamble and Walmart in roles from brand management to sustainability strategy. She earned her MBA (Corporate Strategy) from the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, an MS in Environmental Policy and Behavior (also from the University of Michigan), and a BS in Computer Science from SUNY Binghamton. She is the co-author of High-Performance Hospitality: Sustainable Hotel Case Studies, one of the first books published on sustainability in the hospitality industry.
Jessica Huang, CFA, Director, is the Head of Sustainable Investment Solutions for Americas and Japan. She leads the client and product strategy for the Americas and Japan regions.
The Sustainable Investing team is focused on identifying drivers of long-term return associated with environmental, social and governance issues, integrating them throughout Blackrock’s investment processes, and creating solutions for our clients to achieve sustainable investment return.
Previously, Ms. Huang was a member of the iShares Product Strategy & Consulting team focusing on new product research and delivering product expertise to global iShares clients and partners. Prior to joining Blackrock in 2013, she worked as a Senior Product Manager for Invesco, where she covered the Emerging Markets Debt and High Yield strategies. Prior to that, she was an Associate Product Manager and Analyst at Morgan Stanley Investment Management supporting various active strategies across asset classes.
Ms. Huang earned a BSE in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco.
Carole M. Laible is the Chief Executive Officer of Domini Impact Investments with over twenty years of impact investing experience. She is the Co-Portfolio Manager of the Domini Impact Equity Fund, and the recently launched Domini Sustainable Solutions Fund and Domini International Opportunities Fund. Domini is an investment adviser with more than $2b in assets under management with an exclusive focus on impact investing. Ms. Laible is responsible for Domini’s overall personnel, research and mutual funds operations, and joined the firm at its inception in 1997.
Ms. Laible played a key role in the launch of the Domini Impact International Equity Fund, as well as, the current investment strategy and sub-manager selection for the Domini Impact Bond Fund and the Domini Impact Equity Fund. Carole serves on the Domini Standards Committee to define, clarify, and implement Domini’s Impact Investment Standards. She also maintains a voting seat on Domini’s Impact Review Committee, which is responsible for the review of all companies’ consistency with Domini’s social and environmental standards and determination of investment eligibility.
Carole also serves as a founding member of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board™ (SASB)™ Investor Advisory Group. She works to support diversity in the field of finance, including as a Global Angel member of 100 Women in Finance.
Kathryn McDonald is the co-founder of Radiant ESG, a consulting firm that advises on approaches to ESG investing and programs that promote diversity and inclusion with an emphasis on culture. Prior to this she was Head of Sustainable Investing at Rosenberg Equities, overseeing the integration of ESG information in Rosenberg’s investment process and leading the firm’s ESG and impact research effort. Kathryn holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Willamette University, and a Master of International Management from The American Graduate School of International Management. She also recently founded Aquanos Collective, a water research consultancy, and is a member of the Board for the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia (RIAA).
