College Recruiter

Full Time opportunity

Competitive salary and terms and conditions

Search is open until filled; preference will be given to applications received by October 1.

Glasgow Caledonian New York College (chartered in 2017) is a post graduate institution with a mission-driven focus in serving the Common Good.  Because we are a “start-up”, we provide plenty of room to grow and learn, and an opportunity to impact an institution at its very roots.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our GCNYC team as College Recruiter.   This role will be responsible for outreach, recruitment, and admissions processes and will be actively involved in the development of direct recruitment campaigns attracting students to our unique niche degree programmes.

We are looking for applicants who hold a relevant degree with substantial experience in sales, customer service or enrolment management together with strong communication skills, a vibrant personality and an eye for detail.  Because we are a start-up, we need a person who is able to serve as part of a highly collaborative team; has the courage to take on the challenges of a start-up; and has fresh ideas for new approaches to recruitment.

If you would like to find out more or have any specific questions on this post, please contact Professor Bob Clougherty, Provost of GCNYC, by emailing Robert.clougherty@gcu.ac.uk

To apply for this role please submit a copy of your Resume, Cover Letter and an Affirmative Action Profile (Voluntary) to recruitment@gcu.ac.uk .  Please note, there will be a requirement to travel and work the occasional night and weekend.

The initial review of applications will begin shortly after the closing date; applications will be accepted and considered until the position is filled.

Glasgow Caledonian New York College does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, disability, political affiliation, age, sexual orientation, arrest record, veteran or marital status in its education programs or activities, including employment and admissions.  We welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates and are committed to promoting equality and valuing diversity at GCNYC.
