Career Conversation with Lauren Hood of Corporate Citizenship

WHAT: We were so excited to talk with Lauren Hood of Corporate Citizenship. Lauren received her B.S. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and her M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, where she focused on water management and sustainable product development. Before joining Corporate Citizenship in 2020, she spent 6 years in the fashion industry working in sustainability, production, supply chain management, and material sourcing for a sustainable women’s wear brand.

Currently, Welch is the Sustainability Division Director at PR agency, Chapter 2 where she leads accounts for bluesign®, Bombyx, Saitex, EDWIN USA, Vuarnet, and Roopa Pemmaraju. She also currently serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives & Creative Partnerships for Fashion Revolution USA, a global organization calling for greater transparency in the fashion industry. Welch recently completed her M.S. in Impact-Focused Business & Investing from Glasgow Caledonian New York College in December 2020.
