Director of Strategy and Integrated Partnerships

234 x 247Maggie Kervick works as the Director of Strategy and Integrated Partnerships at Glasgow Caledonian New York College (GCNYC) and leads on research for the Fair Fashion Center (FFC). The first of its kind, the FFC facilitates the incorporations of sustainable practices into fashion, proving the business case for sustainability by turning global issues into industry opportunities.

Previously, Kervick worked on the Corporate Citizenship team at Kenneth Cole, helping to engage customers in the brands philanthropic work through product, digital activism, and in-store activations. Starting at Kenneth Cole as a Women’s Reaction footwear designer, Kervick's career was redirected under the mentorship of Mr. Kenneth Cole who recognized her passion and ability to connect business and society.

Kervick found her way to Kenneth Cole shortly after her company, Bags By Mags, launched a partnership with Lifestyles® Condoms, offering three awareness raising handbags made to look like Lifestyles® SKYN® condom wrappers. Through the “I’m Covered” campaign, Bags By Mags strived to put stigma to bed by empowering women to carry and use condoms.

She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, after four years of running full operations for Bags By Mags. Kervick was selected by the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) to be a Fashion Fellow, a yearlong program is designed for rising stars in fashion management. Additionally, she reserves her free time to direct the fashion track at the Nexus Global Youth Summit and serves on the board of amfAR’s generationCURE.
