Carlos AmadorDirector of Development and Admissions

Carlos serves as Director of Development and Admissions for Glasgow Caledonian New York College where he leads on identifying and cultivating philanthropic support for the university, drive corporate development activities to deliver executive education and continuing professional development programming with corporate partners, and identify students for our Master’s level offerings. 

He’s a graduate of Robert W. Baird’s Private Wealth Management leadership rotational development program, where he excelled as a private wealth consultant with functional proficiency in firm and branch operations, practice management, marketing, technology productivity, investment research, financial planning, and financial advisory acquisition and integration. Baird has been consistently ranked Top 10 on Fortune Magazine's 100 Best Companies To work For.  

Carlos is a graduate of Marquette University with an International Business and Marketing degree, a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Wisconsin-Madison, financial planning education from Northwestern University, and successfully completed the Certified Financial Planning designation examination requirement. He's served on a number of non-profit boards and city commissions, always striving to make the community a better place.
